- Momentum is waning in the equity market. There are no sell signals yet, but “the magnificent seven” are fading while small caps and commodities are improving
- The good news is that the Fed is signaling that rate hikes are behind us. Fed’s Wallace is already talking about rate cuts
- But the first two weeks of December are usually weak. If the stock market follows the season, we will see a sour market before Santa Claus can give the market his final blessing at the end of the year
The chart below shows how the FANG index is falling while the S&P500 is keeping pace.
