Indian-based Tech Mahindra (NSEI:TECHM), an internationally operating IT services and solutions provider, has acquired 100% of German-based companies Lineas Informationstechnik (Lineas) and Beris Consulting (Beris).
Headquartered in Braunschweig and Wolfsburg, Beris and Lineas are IT focused consultancies, advising their clients throughout the entire lifecycle of IT systems, from planning to development and implementation. The service offering includes process and technology consulting, system integration and operation of standard software products, individual software development and embedded systems engineering. With over 125 consultants, Lineas and Beris mainly work with clients in the automotive sector.
The acquisition will help TechM unlock the transformational growth in the IT and application space for the automotive industry as a result of EV, sharing and mobility.
Carlsquare acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of Lineas Informationstechnik and Beris Consulting. This marks the fourth transaction with repeat client and serial entrepreneur Michael Goldapp, as well as Carlsquare’s 29th IT-services and software development transaction in the last 12 months. The deal underpins Carlsquare’s ability to execute transactions with global market leaders from India or the US.
