Carlsquare welcomes Maurice Harbison as Partner – strengthening Software, FinTech & Digital Services coverage

Carlsquare’s business in the UK and Germany is growing even closer together: Maurice Harbison is joining Carlsquare as a partner from EY and will be based in both Berlin and London. The tech deal expert has already advised on transactions with a total volume of over US$40 billion across M&A, equity capital markets and growth financing – including numerous cross-border deals.

Before joining Carlsquare, the German-Irish national was a Partner at EY in London, and previously served as Managing Director at Bryan, Garnier & Co. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at several technology-focused mid-market advisory firms, building a strong foundation in corporate finance at KPMG and NM Rothschild.

Maurices focuses on high-growth, technology-enabled businesses navigating rapid scaling and strategic transformation – particularly in enterprise software, payments infrastructure, RegTech/GRC, wealth technology and B2B SaaS. He brings extensive experience in guiding founders, management teams and private equity sponsors through complex cross-border transactions, consistently delivering outstanding results.
