- The Fed’s Powell gave the markets an early Christmas present on Wednesday, 13 December, by indicating a lower path for US interest rates
- Market sentiment has changed over the autumn as lower inflation has prompted central banks to change their policies. As a result, cyclical and property stocks should continue to rise.
- Everything is cheap now (except China), so enjoy the ride while it lasts!
- Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We will be back in January
The chart below shows some international stock indices, all of which are rallying except China.
