John Cooper – With an impressive background in technology investment banking, Coop has led M&A Corporate Development for American Express, First Data, Microsoft and McKesson. He brings a wealth of experience and insider knowledge to help you navigate the complexities of the tech industry. Cooper was also President of ThinkTank, a Softbank backed business accelerator before moving into investment banking.
Mark Miller – founder of Carlsquare, has started his software career with his C++ class at the University of Texas, but then soon decided to focus on selling software companies and leave the programming to his sons. Based in Hamburg, he has sold numerous software companies to investors from Europe and the US. Previously, her worked for Bertelsmann and Deutsche Bank.
Michael Moritz – founder of Carlsquare, has advised on 250+ transactions since 1991. Former Globalscope president, now a board member. Previous roles include privatizing firms at Treuhandanstalt Berlin and corporate finance consulting at Doertenbach & Co., specializing in family-owned businesses. Studied liberal arts at Albion College and economics/law in Germany. Advisory roles with IFO Institute, Deutsche Stiftung Eigentum, and family business association.
