New Partner Mathias Möhrpahl strengthens our renewable energy sector

We are delighted to welcome Mathias Möhrpahl as a Partner to our Hamburg team. Mathias has 15 years of experience in M&A, corporate advisory, business development and renewable energy and has lived and worked in several countries across Europe, North- and South America as well as Southeast Asia.

Before he joined Carlsquare, Mathias spent nearly 10 years at Uruguayan-based Ficus Advisory, a leading investment bank boutique in the South Cone of LATAM and Globalscope member, where he focused mainly on wind, solar and other renewable energy transactions worldwide. Since 2021, he is also a member of the Advisory Panel at New Energy Partners, Greece, an investment fund that provides quasi equity financing in the Greek energy transition space. Prior to Ficus, Mathias had his own advisory firm based in Santiago de Chile, which was responsible for the structuring and organization of a leading Nordic financial institution’s Asset Management business in Chile.
