Carlsquare advised HanseYachts AG and its main shareholder AURELIUS on the successful sale of their shares to Müller Verwaltung GmbH, a single-family office based out of Kitzbühel (Austria) owned by the German serial entrepreneur Andreas Müller, and Hanjo Runde, CEO of HanseYachts AG. The ownership change was completed just three weeks after signing the Share Purchase Agreement (SPA), marking an important milestone for the company’s strategic development and financial stabilization.
Founded in 1990 in Greifswald, Germany, HanseYachts is one of the world’s leading serial yacht manufacturers. Its portfolio includes six brands across both sailing (Hanse, Dehler, Moody) and motor yachts (Fjord, Sealine, Ryck), catering to a discerning international customer base across multiple premium segments.
Müller Verwaltung GmbH always pursues a long-term entrepreneurial investment approach with a focus on sustainable growth. Hanjo Runde, who has been CEO of HanseYachts AG since October 2021, brings extensive experience in corporate transformation and will co-invest through his private investment vehicle. Together, they provide the strategic and financial commitment to secure the company’s future.
