Carlsquare advised Westra Security Group AB on the sale to Secits Holding

Secits Holding acquires Westra Security Group’s security operations centre (SOC). Together, Secits Holding is now able to connect all security solutions to an own SOC and can guarantee quick responses via their own operators available 24/7. The acquisition is a very important part of the Secits journey towards becoming a one stop shop provider of security solutions for businesses, authorities, and individuals.

Westra Security Group’s SOC is certified according to the latest standards and has all authorisations for alarm classes 1 and 2 as well as for operational monitoring. The company is based in Arvika, Värmland.

“The acquisition of Säkra Larm last summer complemented Secit’s technical expertise in camera solutions with a fantastic sales force, knowledge of the alarm segment and a stable and profitable customer base from the home alarm sector. To now also be able to link our security solutions to our own alarm centre – where we can guarantee a fast response via our own operators 24/7 – is a very important piece of the puzzle in our journey towards becoming a comprehensive provider of security solutions for the property sector, companies, authorities and private individuals,” says Erik Bech-Jansen, President & CEO at Secits.

“The measures to integrate Westra Security Group into the Secits Group will start immediately and are expected to be completed in Q3 2022. Already from Q3 the business is expected to show positive cash flow”, says Jonas Lundberg, Chief Financial Officer at Secits.

Carlsquare acted as the exclusive financial advisor on the sell side, primarily to Turebergs Invest and founder Lars-Olov Viltestam, and also provided external financing to the buyer in the form of convertible loans.
