Planet Cards buys Rocket Internet daughter Bonnyprints

Berlin, January 2016 – Wunderkarten.de and Planet-cards.de have joined their businesses. Planet Cards SAS, the French market leader for personalized wedding-, birthday- and special occasion-cards, integrates Bonnyprints, and their web shop Wunderkarten.de, into their product portfolio. This deal combines two web-to-print providers for personalized cards and photo-presents under one roof.
Both, Planet-cards.de and wunderkarten.de remain independent brands. The management of Bonnyprints, consisting of Dr. Peter Stiller and Tomas Stiller, wins another management member with Valentin Lewandowski, CEO of Planet Cards and Planet Photo.
The merger of Bonnyprints and Planet Cards makes them the German market leader in the sector personalized special occasion-cards. Since the acquisition of clicpostal.com in 2012, Planet Cards is French market leader in this sector.
Bonnyprints and Planet Cards together offer, with nearly 9000 personalized designs, the biggest product range in the German-speaking area: around 4,600 designs by Bonnyprints and around 4,000 by Planet Card. The companies want to combine their production and IT-infrastructure, for a more effective and economical work-flow and to widen their product range continuously.[nbsp]
Carlsquare advised the Rocket Internet daughter Bonnyprints on the sale to Planet Cards.
