Top three ranking premiere for Carlsquare

We are very happy to announce that Carlsquare ranks third in the latest Mergermarket League Table Analysis of the top DACH-based financial advisors in 1Q-3Q 2019.

This League Table Analysis (LTA) is a snapshot of the top DACH-based financial and legal advisors who worked on deals involving DACH-based target/seller or bidder in 1Q-3Q 2019. This includes advisory work on any deal where the target or seller or bidder considers DACH as a dominant geography and the advisors are headquartered in the DACH region.

The DACH region recorded 893 deals for a total value of EUR 101.2bn in the first nine months of 2019, a drop of 15.2% by value and 9% by volume compared to the same period last year. Germany saw most of the activity by volume, with 689 deals valued at EUR 40.5bn, but Switzerland was the highest by value with 145 deals worth EUR 60.3bn.

Carlsquare moved up from seventh to third position. Of the 15 deals it advised, it acted as target-advisor on 12 deals, stating the successful growth path of the past years.
