​​​​​​​Carlsquare advised beautybears GmbH on its sale to Havea Group

Carlsquare successfully advised the shareholders of beautybears GmbH (“Bears with Benefits”), a new generation of nutritional supplements focused on women’s health, on its sale to Havea Group from France.

Within only four years of existence since its inception in Munich in 2018, the Bears with Benefits brand has become a reference among natural health brands in Germany featuring gummies. The brand´s reputation, the acquisition strategy of the founders and the distribution mainly through its e-commerce site, but also through Amazon and leading retail stores such as DM, Rossmann and Douglas, have enabled Bears with Benefits to achieve remarkable growth.

The acquisition of Bears with Benefits is the first external growth transaction for Havea under its new ownership structure, following the completion of the acquisition of a majority stake by BC Partners and PSP Investments on October 11, 2022. This sixth acquisition in six years is in line with Havea’s ambitious plan to now establish a leading position in key European natural health markets through its first acquisition in Germany.
