Carlsquare strengthens partner circle in Munich with Nico Schmidt-Weidemann

Since the beginning of this month, Nico Schmidt-Weidemann has become part of the partner team at Carlsquare and will be responsible for advising clients in the sectors: consumer goods and life sciences. Nico Schmidt-Weidemann has been with Carlsquare for three years and during this time was involved in a number of successful transactions in the German-speaking area from the Munich location. This included the recent sale of water park manufacturer Wibit to Argos Wityu. As a partner in the Munich office of Carlsquare, he will continue to focus on M&A activities in the DACH region in the future.

Nico Schmidt-Weidemann graduated with a LL.M (M&A) from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. He began his career at the French banking group Natixis with stops in New York, Paris and Frankfurt. There he accompanied numerous cross-border transactions of German and French companies.

The increase of employees is part of Carlsquare’s growth and internationalization strategy, which has recently broadened the range of services for its clients through the acquisition of the advisory activities of Carlsquare, including the team led by Anders Bo and Flemming C. Pedersen in Copenhagen.
