Carlsquare advised the shareholders of CONTRACTOR Group, a Munich-based IT freelancer staffing agency, on the sale to 7N Group, a portfolio company of Polaris Management. The acquisition marks an important step in 7N Group’s strategic expansion, establishing a presence in Germany, Europe’s largest IT services market, and strengthening the Group’s position as the preferred partner for organizations seeking access to senior IT specialists and high-end expertise.

Founded over 15 years ago, CONTRACTOR has built a strong market reputation for quality, reliability, and expertise in the premium segment of IT freelancer staffing.
7N Group, comprised of 7N and Globeteam, is a Northern European provider of premium IT consulting, staffing, and digital solutions. The Group operates across 20+ markets, employing over 250 full-time staff and collaborating with more than 8,000 vetted consultants. 7N Group is backed by Polaris Management, a leading Nordic investment firm.
Polaris has signed an agreement to acquire CONTRACTOR Group, with plans to integrate the firm into 7N Group. The acquisition supports 7N Group’s geographic expansion while maintaining its premium positioning. Key management from CONTRACTOR will remain on board, ensuring continuity and leveraging local expertise. Completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions.
