Carlsquare advised VR Equitypartner on the sale of its portfolio company DILAX to init
Carlsquare successfully advised VR Equitypartner on the sale of its portfolio company DILAX Intelcom GmbH (“DILAX”) to init innovation in traffic systems SE (“init”). As of September 6, 2024, DILAX will become part of the init Group to accelerate its growth through digitalization solutions and the development of urban mobility concepts.
Founded in 1988, DILAX specializes in the development of hardware and software solutions for urban spaces and operates in 1,800 cities across 30 countries. The Berlin-based company, with 160 employees, recently generated revenues of approximately 20 million euros.
init is a leading provider of integrated IT solutions for public transportation. For over 40 years, the company has been supporting more than 1,100 transportation companies worldwide by optimizing their operations with modular and standardized solutions for planning, scheduling, telematics, and ticketing to enable efficient and sustainable mobility.
