Eric Erbeck joins Carlsquare as Partner – Expansion of M&A expertise and presence in Frankfurt

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Eric Erbeck as Partner. Eric will join our Frankfurt M&A team, bringing a wealth of experience at the interface of investment banking and entrepreneurship.

Eric comes to us from Houlihan Lokey, where he was Senior Vice President in the Global Technology Group and worked on deals including the sale of bsi (Capvis portfolio company) to Bregal Unternehmerkapital, the sale of beqom to Sumeru Equity Partners, and the sale of Medifox DAN (Hg Capital portfolio company) to ResMed. He previously held a pivotal role at GCA Altium, having started his career at Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Finance Group.

In addition to his roles in investment banking, Eric was a co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer of a Berlin-based startup, where he defined the go-to-market strategy, built a B2B sales team, and successfully secured a financing round.

Eric holds a BSc in International Business from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, including studies in London and Copenhagen, as well as an Executive MBA from Columbia Business School. He has extensive experience working with clients across Europe, showcasing his deep understanding of international markets.
