FIS acquires majority stake in Hamburg Medienwerft

Hamburg – FIS GmbH and Medienwerft, a specialist for brands and e-commerce, will work side by side in the future. On August 31, 2016, both companies signed the contracts for a majority stake of FIS GmbH in the Hamburg e-commerce agency.

In the future the combined portfolio of both companies will cover the full spectrum of SAP services in the field of Customer Engagement and Commerce (CEC). FIS and Medienwerft position themselves as ideal partners for consulting, conception, development, design and creative layout of Web solutions.

Wolfgang Ebner, managing director of FIS GmbH, states: “In our eyes, the participation in Medienwerft is in many ways an excellent complement to the strategic orientation of FIS. In addition to the traditional SAP business, the participation in Medienwerft enables us to also face the new SAP “CEC” (Customer Engagement and Commerce) topic in the best possible way. In the future, we will be able to impress customers with an almost unique portfolio of services in the Web environment: we offer anything that can be offered in this field from strategic consulting, conception, design and SAP integration including the corresponding process know-how to downstream services and outsourcing.”
