Carlsquare advised the shareholders of coin4 Solutions GmbH (“coin4”) and its owner IK Partners on the sale of coin4 to VERIAN Unternehmerkapital (“VERIAN”). Following the advisory mandate on the sale of Debtist to Norvestor earlier this year, this marks Carlsquare’s second successful deal in the receivables management and debt collection sector in 2026.
coin4 is a leading provider of technology-enabled receivables management solutions in Germany. Founded in 1977 and headquartered in Bad Schwartau, the company supports its clients in recovering overdue receivables, primarily in the insurance, publishing and e-commerce sectors. Leveraging AI and highly automated processes as well as a broad communication platform, coin4 serves as an efficient interface between its clients and their debtors. Until the sale, coin4 Solutions was a portfolio company of IK Partners, a private equity firm focused on investments in the Benelux, DACH, France, the Nordics and the UK.
VERIAN is a Munich-based investment holding with an entrepreneurial mindset and a long-term investment horizon.
