Carlsquare advised KKA Partners and its portfolio company Mühldorfer Nutrition Holding on the acquisition of a majority stake in Dr. Clauder Group of Companies

Carlsquare advised KKA Partners and its portfolio asset Mühldorfer Nutrition (Mühldorfer Group) on the acquisition of a majority stake in pet food producer Dr. Clauder Group. This marks an additional significant step in KKA’s buy-and-build strategy to form a leading integrated pet food platform, following the acquisition of Mühldorfer Nutrition AG in early 2025, for which Carlsquare acted as the exclusive financial advisor to the seller.

The Mühldorfer Group, headquartered in Mühldorf am Inn, Upper Bavaria, is one of Europe’s innovation leaders in animal nutrition and animal health. Founded in 1994 by Klaus Mittermeier, the rapidly expanding Group focuses on the development and production of optimally balanced nutrition and care products for all animals. Specialty feeds for horses, pet food for dogs and cats, as well as pharmaceutical and care products and premium and organic products for livestock, agriculture, and hobby farming are produced in eleven modern development and production facilities in Germany, Austria, and Spain, and distributed worldwide.
