Carlsquare Weekly Letter 30 Nov 2022 CS

Carlsquare Weekly Market Letter

  • The market analysts look forward to this Friday’s job numbers from the US with the hope that the numbers will be lacklustre. Yes, we are still in an upside world where bad news is good news and vice versa (for the stock market)
  • Oil and the US dollar are both at breakpoints, giving room for big swings and new trends for the overall market
  • The excellent thing is that it’s relatively inexpensive to buy protection. And it is always a good idea to reassess positions and look over one´s portfolio
  • On Friday, we will get the monthly job numbers for November from the USA. They have been highly correlated to the stock market until now, illustrated in the graph below.
