Carlsquare advised Forvia’s Faurecia Exhaust International S.A.S. on the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary, Hug Engineering A.G., to OGEPAR Group

Carlsquare advised Forvia’s Faurecia Exhaust International S.A.S. (France) on the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary, Hug Engineering A.G. (Switzerland), to OGEPAR Group (Belgium/Germany) for an enterprise value of app. 55M Euros.

Hug Engineering AG, is a renowned provider of exhaust after-treatment systems (EATS) for both mobile (esp. marine) and stationary (esp. data-centers) high-horsepower engine markets across Europe and North America.

Forvia, a Euronext Paris-listed company, is the 7th largest global automotive technology supplier, with over 260 industrial sites, 78 R&D centers, and 150,000 employees across 40+ countries. The transaction is part of its ongoing disposal program. (Forvia press release)

The OGEPAR Group is a diversified family-owned holding company based in Ghent, Belgium. This app. 55M Euros acquisition will enable OGEPAR to grow its footprint in the adjacent EATS market while bringing on board a talented team which will benefit from OGEPAR best practices, thus reinforcing each party’s ongoing commitment to deliver high-quality products and services to their respective clients and markets.
