Carlsquare advised Reproflex Scandinavia A/S on the sale to FPI Group AB

Carlsquare advised Reproflex Scandinavia A/S, a leading Danish provider of products and services within flexographic printing, on the sale to FPI Group AB. The transaction marks a new chapter for Reproflex Scandinavia, joining SweProd Graphics AB as a sister company under FPI Group’s ownership and a key milestone in FPI’s long-term ambition to build a leading cluster within the graphic industry in the Nordics.

Reproflex Scandinavia A/S offers a full-service approach spanning the value chain, ranging from design and prepress to the production of flexographic printing forms (plates & sleeves). The company’s products and services are used by brand owners and printing houses across 18 countries. Operating from sites in Denmark and Finland, Reproflex generates double-digit million revenue with strong profitability and is characterized by high technical expertise and close, long-standing customer relationships.

FPI Group AB is an investment company acting as the principal owner of small and medium-sized niche leaders in the Nordic region, founded by the families behind Mellby Gård AB, Profura AB, and Santhe Dahl Invest AB. With its family- and entrepreneur-based structure, the ownership group serves as a catalyst for small and medium-sized companies seeking to take the next step in their industrial development.

As the new majority owner, FPI will support Reproflex in key strategic initiatives, including Nordic expansion and the further development of the company’s service offering. In a strong sign of continuity and commitment, the company’s CEO and key employees are reinvesting in connection with the transaction and will remain in their current roles.

This transaction also marks the second deal Carlsquare has completed alongside VækstPartner Kapital (VPK). The first collaboration involved the successful sale of TriVision to Insort, a portfolio company of Alder, underscoring the strong and continued partnership between Carlsquare and VPK in supporting Nordic companies through their next stage of growth.

With FPI as our new majority owner, we gain a long-term, industrially oriented owner who shares our vision for the business and provides the right conditions for continued expansion. By reinvesting in the company, I remain fully committed to Reproflex’s development, and together with FPI we gain both the industrial breadth and financial strength to actively shape the Nordic flexographic printing market. The journey would not have been possible without Carlsquare’s support along every step of the way – Thomas Borge Christensen, CEO of Reproflex Scandinavia A/S

Reproflex has been a great partnership. Together with Thomas, Lars and the team we have built a clear Nordic leader in flexographic prepress out of a smaller Kolding-based operation, supported by three successful add-on acquisitions. FPI is precisely the right next owner to continue that journey, and Carlsquare has served us well in identifying the match and executing a disciplined process– Klaus Bülow Davidsen, Partner at VækstPartner Kapital

We are very pleased to welcome Reproflex to the FPI family. The company holds a strong market position in the Nordics and operates in segments where demand for high-quality products remains stable. Together with SweProd Graphics, Reproflex forms the foundation for our continued efforts to develop the Industrial Printing business area. We look forward to participating in the restructuring of the industry over the long term– Arvid Bild, Investment Director at FPI
