The Swedish e-health company FRISQ was founded in 2009 and has since then developed the patient-focused and digital care plan solution, FRISQ Care. The software can help improve care by reducing the administrative burden on doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals as well as making patients more involved in their own care. This can be done without changing current processes, making the product relatively easy to implement and use. Unique functionality allows care teams and patients to interact and engaging the patient in their own care – in line with “the patient contract”. The software is flexible and can be adapted to different diagnoses, local procedures and medical record systems, among others. FRISQ has several agreements, collaborations and pilot projects with both public and private healthcare providers. The challenge now is to establish itself as a leading player in the market over time.
